Sailed under the Golden Gate bridge and passed Alcatraz at about 05:30 then docked around 08:00. By the time we had cleared customs, caught a taxi and picked up the hire car it was 12:30 followed by a 429 mile trip to Barstow.

ReplyDeleteIt always amazes me that cruise ships always arrive at these 'anti-social hours' so you have to drag yourself out of bed (or the buffet!)to get the best pictures.
Sounds like you had a wonderful cruise but bet your glad to be back on terra-firma for a while now...............til your next one, of course!
